In the humble opinion of this dedicated Simpsons fan, the fifth season is the overall best. My particular favorite is Homer Goes to College: "Hello, dean? You are a stupid head." I've never laughed so hard in my life.

I am so stoked! This is one of my all time favorite shows... The writers of this show are amazing. They are great at making a political statement without being all preachy and stuff. In addition to the great writing the actors are wonderfully talented; it is amazing to listen to them do their thing. After 16 years one may think that the Simpson¿s has become old and drab, I am not one of those souls, and I love this show now as much as I did when it first came out.
