This is, as the promo clearly expresses, one of the greatest if not the greatest Rock and Roll performance of all time. It is so so so bad current live performance recording technology was not available. Such a shame that the recording is not up to current standards and is a bit muddy. However, it is still well worth the trip for the shear energy of Jerry Lee on a very special night.

This is it! This is the big one! Not only Jerry Lee's greatest album ever, but in all likelihood the single greatest rock and roll album ever recorded, PERIOD! Jerry Lee is absolutely manic throughout! Nothing short of a miracle. Jerry Lee was on a mission the night of this recording. A mission to conquer! From the opening chords, this recording will blow you away! You will be out of breath by the end of the record, if you make it that far without collapsing! Do you think I am over-rating this record? Hardly. I would give it 6 stars, but the the botton only goes up to 5. Trust me, It's a 6! Jerry Lee plays at breakneck speed throughout, and his awesome backup band this night, the Nashville Teens, do an admireable job of keeping up with the Killer. Every song is played at manic speed, except for one, ''Your Cheating Heart''. Before he plays this song, Jerry Lee provides us with some unintentional humor when he says, ''Alright, I'm going to slow it down for you now a little,'' and then he proceeds to play this classic slow song at a tempo faster than a lot of modern rock music. Listen to the lilting piano improvisation on this song, and all the others on this record. Jerry's energy is unbridled and unmatched anywhere. Pound for pound, this may be the most energized rock and roll show in history. Get it!
