Restoration is another heartwarming Christian story from Laurie Larsen. I loved her Pawleys Island stories and the Murrells Inlet are just as wonderful. I just put everything aside to sit and read this book. Ryan would have to work very hard to convince Carly that he wanted to be a father; that he was back to stay, that he was done doing as his parents decreed. Will he succeed? Wonderful, flawed, realistic characters in a story that will keep your interest. I highly recommend this book.

Thrilled to say i know this suthor and i am thrilled i had the opportunity to work with her. She is amazing witb how she balanced her family and work life and still had time for her readers. I truly enjoyed reading the continuation of this series and look forward to your next book. Job well done.

Carly got pregnant with Grace in high school and Ryan tried to deny his feelings for her and that he even had a daughter by running away to college and not looking back. He left his parents to take care of his financial and emotional responsibilities for Grace. Until he realizes that he still loves Carly and he loves Grace too and wants to be her father. I don't blame Carly for not wanting to accept Ryan back. Now that she has a professional job and is going to college, she has made something of her life without him. But to find her true happiness she has to forgive and trust that he wants to stay and be a family. Nice story about growing up, accepting responsibility, and discovering what's really important in life.

Young love can be a sweet thing and yes they do sometimes last forever. When messes are made it takes a special someone to step up and say they were wrong and that's just what Ryan did. This story is their story. What happens when mistakes made cause a lifetime of results. Lives will change and love through forgiveness will be rekindled by these two and found for Ryan's parents. I love this authors style and the way she brings the message without preaching. While Cary is living and growing as a parent and taking her role and life goals seriously, she now has some new life lessons to excel at. The use of the word and the message that is delivered is well and tastefully done. Great read. In my review of the first book I stated these were standalone reads however the story from Sanctuary is intertwined in this book so it would be better if you read that one first.
