If you love the original iteration of VH, then you will enjoy reading this book. Lots of great inside stories and anecdotes .

This is by far the best book EVER WRITTEN on Van Halen! If you want the dirt this is the book for you. Very easy to read and just so mind boggling! How can so much talent between all of them just disappear after the release of 1984. David Lee Roth has to go down as the biggest f### up in rock history. Eddie is no saint himself. Do yourself a favor and read the book you won't be disappointed. Oh how I miss eighties rock!

If you consider yourself a Van Halen fan, do yourself a favor and read this book. It might change your opinion of some of the band members but it will answer some questions that you might have had. Make no mistake, it is a raw and gritty story but it is so immersive that you will find it a good read.
