After a heart and lung transplant operation, dancer Claire Sylvia discovered that new organs were not the only thing she inherited. Never having liked such foods as beer and chicken nuggets, she suddenly started craving them. After an extraordinary dream, she seeks out the family of her donor — a teenaged boy who died in a motorcycle accident — and learns that it is indeed possible for two souls to merge in one body.

"This is a story that must be told and heard...a fascinating example of how cellular memory can outlive physical death". — Deepak Chopra, M.D.

I really loved this book. I had heard stories of transplant survivors who aquired traits from their donors. This book tells the story of Claire Sylvia's transplant and how that happened to her. I would love to read more books on the subject. I give it 5 stars!

Change of Heart is the best book anyone could read. It is sad, but on the other hand it is also happy. You could cry, or you could laugh reading this book. I don't think there is one boring part in this book. It is a nonfiction novel about a lady who suffers from a heart disease and she gets a transplant that changes her life. So, not only does she have another persons heart and lungs in her she can feel him and she can feel his spirit in her. This book goes on to talk about her experiences before and after the transplant. I definately recommend this book to everyone. I really can't think of anything bad about this book. Go out and read it, guaranteed it will be loved!

I was to read a book that was of my choice. The book A Change Of Heart is a very warm and spirited book. This book is a ture story about a young womens trial and tribulations of a heart-lung transplant. The heart-lungs that Claire has recieved is from an 18 year old boy, who was killed in a crash. After the transplant Claire had noticed a change in the way that she was eating and looking at people. A Change Of Heart is very touching. You can see from a young womens point of view, and you can see how you can't life for granit.
