4 Stars A Leap Into Destiny by Michelle Sullivan is a stand-alone love story that is written about “real people”. Alli & Jason are not rich, they do not have their dream job and they are not living their dream life. They are, however, living their lives and being the best single parents they can be. From the first time they met, something clicked. It started on a fateful day in a playground sandbox with a simple sentence “It looks like your daughter might have a thing for my son.” and their destiny begins. Her past and his past are different from each other, but each has made them who they are today. Both have a limited support system in place and are going through life trying to keep their head above water. Will their pasts ALWAYS haunt them? As Alli & Jason transition from best friends to lovers, his lack of communication & her insecurities cause misunderstandings that they must work through to prove that they have taken the RIGHT Leap Into Destiny. The characters were well developed and the story line was believable. I enjoyed this book.
