Overview

New York Times bestselling author Ann Coulter is back with an all-new, long-awaited book! With her trademark wit and no-holds-barred style, Coulter takes readers behind the curtain of political correctness and reveals what’s really going on in America today. She takes on lying politicians like Texas’ Wendy Davis; exposes blatant hypocrisy at MSNBC and The New York Times; and sets the stage for what promises to be a knock-down, drag-out 2016 presidential election. Love her or love to hate her, Coulter has been pushing political buttons and boundaries for two decades now—and with this book, she has once again launched a shot that'll be heard 'round the world.

On the media cover-up . . .

“When it comes to immigration, the journalist’s motto is: The public can’t be trusted with the truth.”

On why they can’t afford to report the facts . . .

“People might notice that the country’s workforce and social safety net are collapsing under the weight of 30 million poor people, while the rich and powerful are doing quite well.”

On the elites’ sweet deal . . .

“They get to have cheap nannies and lawn boys in the whitest towns in America—and feel morally superior!”

On the Democrats’ motive . . .

“Bring in new voters. Okay, fine. You won’t vote for us, America? We tried this the easy way, but you give us no choice. We’re going to overwhelm you with new voters from the Third World.”

On our current immigration policy . . .

“We turn away astrophysicists to make room for illiterate Afghan peasants who will drop out of high school to man coffee carts until deciding to engage in jihad against us.”

On losing our country . . .

“Americans love to mock the French for rolling over for Hitler, but at least they had Panzers rolling through Paris.”

On securing the border . . .

“When the bathtub is overflowing, the very first thing you do is TURN OFF THE WATER.”

(This short review is based on NOOK sample available on this website.) Ann has the courage to call a spade a spade and to frontally attack, like Joan of Arc, the "Liberal" nonsense about mass and predominantly illegal immigration from Third-World countries. If more of us had her courage, we could easily preserve America as the best country that was ever built on Earth. At least, those who would rather keep low profile about their disapproval of giving this country away to the invasion of illegal aliens, can read, now, in the privacy and safety of their homes what they did not have guts to say in public. Or, maybe, they will follow Ann's example and begin openly voicing their objections to their dispossession and displacement.

Her books are always well researched and interesting to read.  It is sad that many in our country feel that debate is something to be  avoided, that rather than disagree in a civil manner you must demonize or denigrate any opposing views.  Our country  is based on  freedom of speech, and it was put in the Bill of Rights to control close-minded people (such as many who have reviewed this book  without reading it ) and allow those who value free speech to talk about the many sides of an issue.  I am deeply saddened that many would so willingly throw away the freedoms that our Founding Fathers fought for.  Read the book and then decide, discuss  and debate without hateful ranting!  I intend to read it, especially after having heard several interviews concerning the book.

Another well-researched book by a great author.  I read this last night.  Debate of the merits of actions in this country should not be stifled.  Ann has strong opinions, expresses them forcefully, and backs them up with facts.  Excellent, thoughtful book.

Anne Coulter makes tremendous sense in this well researched book about the devastating effects of US immigration practices. Readers go away with the urge to demand change from elected officials to prevent our country from becoming a third world nation. She backs up her case with numerous facts and stories about immigrants that are dragging us into a death spiral.

Ann Coulter is brave enough to "tell it like it is", and writes this book, not because she is an unhappy woman, but rather because she loves her country. The left has become a metaphor for irresponsibility and naivete. They are very good at giving away other peoples' money; as long as it is not their money. Or busing in illegals, as long as it's not into their neighborhood. I will never understand why liberals are so content, spending a lifetime, voting for policies that are assured to auger this country into the ground. Their ignorance and irresponsibility is shameful.

Adios, like all Coulter books is well researched and her biting wit is displayed on every page. Her documented evidence is disconcerting because it's so real,  especially for those of us who live in areas with a high illegal alien population. It's not an accident that countries settled by the British (America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) enjoy a higher standard of living and greater liberties than those below the Rio Grande.

Having read the book ( as opposed to the below "reviewers" who acknowledge they haven't bothered to do so,), I highly recommend it for a comprehensive overview of the FACTS of our policy of mass immigration.  One can disagree with Ann Coulter, but she has amassed a  astounding array of facts of why our open borders policy is bad for poor Americans, bad for black Americans, bad for middle class Americans, but very, very good for the wealthiest among us. Our Congressional delegations and main stream press have been bought and do not provide us with information about the affects of mass immigration on America.  I have never read one of Ann Coulter's books before.  In general. I am put off by her polemic tone; however, here she is taken an outspoken position that will get her vilified or ignored in the press, but speaks clearly to the concerns of many, if not most, Americans.  If you are interested in finding out the facts of our  immigration policy and exactly how many legal immigrants we allow into our country and where they come from, I would highly recom- mend this book to you.

I have pretty much been on the fence about immigration. But, the statistics and hard data in this book are very disturbing. There is no doubt that Ann has a hyperbolic style. But she has a good deal of data to back her up. no doubt, this book will bring out the racists and hate mongers of the left. Just check out the negative ratings of this book. It is clear that not a single one of them actually read the book. They even admit as much. But that doesn't stop them from direct personal attacks on the author without any contrary facts or argument to back them up. They are simply trying to squelch dissent. I would recommend this to any serious student of immigration and immigration policy. Even if you do not always agree with Ann (as I don't), it is very instructive.

As one who was born in Corpus Christi, the birth place of LaRaza, LULAC, and G I Forum, I can say this book is right on. Unfortunately it is twenty years to late. Like a cancer uncontrolled immigration is like cancer, detected early it could be cured. Now since the cancer has infected every thing that use to be good about America we are terminal and dying a slow death. People who realized the consequences of mass illegal and legal immigration which is compounded by antiquated Anchor Baby law were legally prevented from correcting the problem. I for one was booted off the Corpus Christi Caller Times when I would point out the error in the extremely pro-illegal staff. They could not handle the truth, and refuse to while their paper goes down the toilet. Ann Coulter should be given supreme recognition for her work but since the richest man in the world owns and controls the major media outlet that will never happen. Carlos Slim, major owner of the New York Times specifically banned any discussion on immigration that was negative. Like the saying goes freedom of the Press only applies when you own the press and its people.

If any of the men/women running this next election had the balls that Coulter has to call it like it is, back it up with statistics, AND not back down, it'd be a run away election.

As in her previous works, miss coulter lays out her arguments, sources them impeccably, and wins. This time using "palm off" which is what she has often previously meant by "pawn off". My one complaint about her ten earlier bestsellers.

I would make Ann the press sec. if I were president. She could then talk truth to Liberal BS and their sycophants in the old media.

The NY Times was bad enough before it became a part of Carlos Slims empire. This Book was great as usual. I wish the content was discussed on TV rather than the usual garbage

This will make your stomach churn. That is if you actually READ it, unlike some reviewers that just post 1 star 'reviews' to lower the overall score. Ann backs up her words with FACTS. And the facts are alarming. Anyone that can support a lawless administration (by not enforcing current immigration laws) shouldn't be living here. If flooding this country with illegals is truly to overwhelm the voting sector with Democratic votes, then that is alarming enough. But, the side benefit has been the deteriorating public school system (with overcrowding and the need for translators); higher crime; hospital wait times and closings; our culture being destroyed; welfare fraud; unemployment; widespread disease and the list goes on. Either side of the political scale SHOULD care about what is happening to this country.

Anyone who thinks this book is hateful is a fool. Every fact is well documented. Thanks again Ann for giving us the truth.

Good info. The only information I see missing is that the director of USCIS annually tells Congress how many Naturalization (N-400) and Adjustment of Status (I-485) applications will be approved annually.

I'm eleven years old and my name is Shawna Squire. My parents are divorced, but my mom always told me to find someone to look up to and then hold onto them. I know she expected me to pick someone like Katy Perry or Nicki Minaj, but my hero is Ann Coulter. I love Ann because she is a smart, independent woman who doesn't take crap from anybody. I also love her because she is super fair and always considers evety side of an argument before picking a side....and sticking to it. I also listen to AM 770 ktth on the radio with my dad. I hope thatl grow up to be just as cool as Ann!
