Overview

No one knows just how powerful Colonel Asher Brooks is. It's a secret he's fond of keeping. As point person for the Immortal Ops, he has seen just about everything the supernatural community has to offer. That is,until he arrives on the docks in Seattle to find a mess his men didn't make. Something big is going down there and it means business. His concern is for Jinx, a leggy redheaded succubus who calls the area home. He's spent centuries denying what he knows to be true, thinking he's keeping his woman safe and that it's for the best.

When Jinx calls to tell him she has information for him, he worries the woman who drives him mad with lust might be in danger. He'll do anything to protect her, even if that means claiming her for his own, whether she's up for being claimed or not.

I really like this series but I find it very expensive, $5.99 for about 73 pages. Mandy packs a lot of information in these, but still I really like them.

I was skeptical going into this after reading other reviews, but I found I enjoyed it a lot. As others mentioned, it would have been nice to get a bit more detail on Asher's past, but this did not detract from the story. The main questions I had about him were answered. There was plenty of info to set up for future stories and send me scrambling to purchase the next book. While I enjoyed the story, I did find some repetitive parts annoying. It almost felt like the author was repeating herself just to stretch the word count at times. It is for this reason I can't give it a 5 star rating. As good as these books are, I am willing to overlook an occasional annoyance. Oh, and this one definitely does not stand alone well. You'll want to read a book or two ahead of it for the events to make sense, even with the dash of background info that is included. Solid 4 stars for this one.

Like the series, but with increasingly shorter stories, not worth purchading.

Administrative Control was sexy, fun, and action filled. I haven't met a Roth book I haven't liked and the Immortal Ops series excellent. Asher and Jinx are fiery and combustible together, they're the perfect pair.

Jeneathra Isis Nevania Xenia or as we who read the immortal ops story have been calling her Jinx the succubus. Colonel Asher Brooks is the chief of operations of the immortal ops. This story takes place right after the last book in the series timeline but I think it can be read without the others to make sense. I have no trouble following along and have not read all of the books or in the order they were written. ☺ This part of the series we find out Jinx's has know Asher over a 1000 years and he has kept her at arms length the whole time and yet helped her. Can't say more on it without giving the story away and messing it up but I will say I wouldn't have forgive Asher as she had at least not that fast lol We got to see some of the ops team in action in a bar fight and heard of them joking around. That is best part of the story for me anyway but this time Miss Roth only touched on it lightly and gave us more information on the series. All in all I highly enjoyed the book and it made for a great evening. I can't wait to read more of the series and would highly recommend them to anyone who loves paranormal action romance. Shifters, magic, bad guys and romance. How can ya go wrong! Love it.

As the boss of Immortal Ops Asher Brooks is used to playing things close to his chest. He is not human as the team believes and has lived for a very, very, very long time. Jinx is his mate and he has known this for some time but anxieties over turning out like his  father has made him keep her at arms length. Jinx runs the brothel for Immortals and as a succubus her powers in the bedroom are unmatched. She is asked to keep an ear out  for information for Asher and this leads her and her employees into trouble. This book was a little disjointed as I felt it didn't flow as well from the previous book. I also was still left a bit in the dark as to what Asher really is. I felt more time could have been devoted to Asher and Jinx back story. It was still a great story but it could have been a bit fuller. There were a wee couple of spelling mistakes in my copy, which may have been edited out by now. The team banter is again fantastic and Duke and Roi are totally nuts!!! Am refusing to let this wee dip in storytelling put me off and am off to open the next book.

As advertised, a novella with strong male female ongoing romance. Stoic Asher and caring Jinx have loved each other for centuries but because of history and fear of a repeat they have never allowed their relationship. The one thing that will bring Asher to Jinx is a threat to her safety. Look out bad guys. It was great fun to watch the "boys" antics and see the leaders try to lead them. The story opens up all kinds of future intrigue and I for one could not wait to delved into future stories. Since I knew going in this was a short read, I was not disappointed just anxious for more of these great characters, their loves, battles and revealed secrets.
