The "International Winter Conferences on Neurodegeneration” have become an established forum to discuss various aspects of basic and clinical topics related to the underlying mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders. This volume focuses on Brain Imaging, Enogenous and Exogenous Neurotoxins, Programmed Cell Death, Apoptosis and Necrosis, and Immunoinflammatory Mechanisms, Infective Diseases Causing Neurological Disorders. These topics have been reviewed by invited experts and the articles give an up-to-date reflection of the state of the art in these research fields.
