This is an interesting book. It gave a first person, sometimes personal, insight into the career development of a very talented musical artist and entertainer. It was not a complete autobiography and should not be construed as such. However, it was much more than just another book on ABBA. For a reader, who wants to go beyond the fact and fallacy, from the normal fan spin and media depictions of MS. Faltskog and her role in ABBA; 'AS I AM' provides an insightful and sometimes opinionated look into selected factors and events which influenced her, through about 40 years of her life. The strength of this book is not in the briefly described and well illustated presentation of facts and events, but, instead it is in MS. Faltskog's analysis of her feelings that developed and sometimes changed in response to those factors and events. One would have to understand this to appreciate the value of this book.
