This story is about a girl that lives with her step sisters and her wicked step mother. They have a ball to see who will marry the prince and Cinderella is demanded to do everything to get her step-sisters and mother ready and complete many house chores before she can begin to get ready herself. The ugly stepsisters were surprised to see the beautiful Cinderella show up at the ball and win over the prince¿s love. He soon caught back up with her, after her disappearance and they lived happily ever after. I really enjoyed this story about Cinderella. In classic stories, like this, there are many versions. This version of Cinderella was excellent. The flow of the story was excellent, the pictures were bright and colorful, and the storyline and plot were excellent like always.1.Have puppets for each of the classic characters and allow children to create their own version of Cinderella with their puppets.2.Draw a picture of each character and have the children describe each characters personality.

Micheal Reinhart put a lot of thought, detail and magic into this book. It's almost like he knows the spirit of a little girls heart. My daughters favorite bedtime story. I practically know it by heart. Worth every penny.

I originally bought this book for my niece (4 years ago) and ordered one for myself for when I had my own children to read to. I just shared this book with my daughter today (she is 3), and she was so thrilled with this book! It was such a "special" read. It was very difficult to keep her hands off of the pop ups because she just wanted to touch everything! We'll have to keep this book up out of reach, but I know she will want me to read it to her all the time! I will be buying ALL books by Matthew Reinhart! He is amazing! a truly magical illustrator!

The original tale of a girl's rags to riches, and because she earned and deserved it. Plain and simple - no one wants her lazy, pompous and ugly step-sisters but they do want the hard working, humble and beautiful Cinderella, and she wins out after a rough life of semi-slavery. It teaches that goodness comes to those who deserve it.

I simply can't wait for my daughter to grow up to wow her with this book. It's not only beautifully drawn with magical fairy-tale like details, but the quality of engineering production of the pop-up design is incredible. I'm planning to buy all of the books designed by Matthew Reinhart
