This author REALLY knows what youth football is about. It's not about being undefeated, although that would be great, it's about the fundamentals. When coaching build a sound foundation of basic footbal skills, these young players will take it to the next level with the next coach. I used his book to teach kids ranging in age from 7-10 who never played the game before & molded them into players who know the basics of blocking, tackling, throwing, catching, running, & most importantly, teamwork. I also learned some aspects of the game that I didn't have a good grasp on. The author did a great job of sticking to the fundamentals! I wish there would be more books like this one.
