Claire Louise and Macy Rose Richards are sisters and best enemies--fierce adversaries in a lifelong rivalry by turns bitter and hilarious. But their rivalry hides a terrible secret buried somewhere in the past. As each sister tells her story in DAUGHTERS OF MEMORY, pieces of the puzzle begin falling into place and a shocking and tragically familiar picture begins to emerge. A LITERARY GUILD SELECTION.

I picked this book up not knowing what it might hold, just looking for a book one day. I wasnt too interested at first, but as the chapters passed i grew more eager to read. The eagerness was a result of the relationship i had with the charcters, they are so real. I can compare some of the things that have happened in my life and the people i know with the characters and their problems. All the characters were needed to make this book perfect, Arnold did a perfect job of establishing distinct personalitys. Just read it, it will get you to think about your own life, she put it all in perspective, great job on the first novel :)
