Still on the first book, but so good! I loved the movies and decided to give the series a try and I love the book so much better. I would recommend this series to anyone. This trilogy set is well worth the money as well. So glad I decided on getting the series.

I started reading the series to get my mind off my sister dying and yet had hope that something awesome would happen for her. The series was hard to read especially Allegiant where I wanted to skip past certain chapters and in the end she killed off the main character. Devastated was not the word. I was so mad at trying to learn her writing style on top of the death of the one hope we all have is that good could come out of everything. No good in this. Let us hope they do a repeat of Breaking Dawn in the movie itself. Sad part is the books there was awesome and I did love the reprise in the last movie. This will not have a good end unless they drift away from the book as I know no one likes a sad ending and yet this is a sad ending. There is no hope for anything. I read to feel better and pray and hope things can actually work out. This made me feel like I was losing someone, my sister, for over a week and yes I actually did lose her at 8 years old and I am 36 so thanks for the let down!!!!

Count me among those who hated Allegiant to the point that I was sorry I spent so much time and money on the trilogy. As I read in another review, I wish I could get some of that memory serum so I could forget I ever read it. I don't read a lot of fiction and wasn't even aware of the Divergent trilogy until my husband and I happened to see Divergent on HBO. We both loved the movie so much that we wanted to read the books to see what else happened. Divergent is definitely the best book in the series and quite frankly we both liked the movie better than the book. Insurgent was disappointing because after beginning a love story in Divergent, Tris and Four spend way too much of the second book upset and doubting each other. I also felt that a lot of the second book was just setting the stage for the big finale in the third. So after reading over 1000 pages, plus the Four book which gives you more back story on the Tobias character, but isn't really much of a story in itself, to get to the big finale - a showdown between good and evil, a sense of closure - the third book, Allegiant is a huge disappointment. Aside from the disappointing ending, the story was rambling, with too many new characters introduced without enough character development, and confusing with the constant switching between the narrations of Tris and Tobias. It also bothered me that several characters who were very significant in the first two books had practically no significance in the third - like Roth couldn't decide what to do with them once they had served her purpose. Actually the whole book seemed like she couldn't decide exactly where she was going with the story, but she had a 3-book contract so she had to wrap it up somehow. As a result, it wasn't wrapped up well, with too many things left unexplained. Not sure I even want to see the sequels. Every story doesn't have to have a happy ending, but at least Divergent left the viewer feeling that whatever difficulties Tris and Four had to face, at least they were going to face them together.

these books are the most amazing books i have ever read in my entire life! yes i am the type of person who doesn't perticularly like to read but when i stared reading this series i couldn't stop reading and i absolutley love it when a book can just transport you to a whole different world, and that is exactly what Veronica Roth did and i am entirely greatful to her for showing me that the choices you make may hurt the people you love but that same choice will make you stronger that you ever thought you could ever become. not to mention that you may just land yourself a smokin hot instructor but what can ya do? I LITERALLY CRIED WHILE READING INSURGENT AND ALLEGIANT!!!!!!! but this book definitly changed my view of the world and the people that i am around and i will defintley be looking forward to more amazing books by Veronica Roth and the amazing motion pictures based on these books! i have never fallen in deeper love with a series of books in my entire life!!! Divergent+Insurgent+Allegiant+Four=LIFE!!!

I really enjoyed this series. The plot and action in these books draw any reader's attention. I personally really liked the action in these books and I loved the connection one experiences to the characters! I didn't like the way the author ended Allegiant, but otherwise I loved it. I have a blog dedicated to Divergent! i really hope you too will read this series and fall in love with it.

Author of this book rushed the first book and it seemed as if she had nothing else to write during the second book, but overall it was very interesting. something different.

This is a much better trilogy than hunger games. Very original story concept. The characters and their interactions draw you into the story and these characters. I look forward to more writing by her.

This was an awesome series but the only problem had was at the end all their struggles to be together the ending should have been different
