The pressure’s really piling up on Greg Heffley. The only thing he’s good at is playing video games, but his mother wants him to broaden his horizons by doing something—anything!—else.

When Greg finds an old video camera in his basement, he thinks he may have discovered just the thing to prove he’s got big-time talent. With the help of his best friend, Rowley, Greg hatches a plan to make a scary movie . . . and to become rich and famous in the process.

But is doubling down on moviemaking a smart plan? Or is it just a recipe for doubling Greg’s troubles?

I chose this book because the series I have read was good so far so I read the next one. I thought it was going to be something about having too much of some things. I feel like I could read more of the cool books. It wasn’t really a book I expected it to be, it was ok. My opinion has not changed. 2) The book is based on a storyline of a kid named Greg Heffley who usually has bad things happen when he wants good things to happen. The setting of this book is usually his school, friends house, or his house. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a Children’s literature, Graphic Novel. The author of this book is Jeff Kinney. I liked this book because it is funny and good for children. It is a book that you could probably read the whole series of. I would recommend this book to people ages 5-14. It is a very cool and interesting book that will get you to read the whole series!
