This is not a remake of the 40s film "A Guy Named Joe." That is a Steven Spielberg remake also entitled "Always." Only Mr. Magoo could confuse a Henry Jaglom film with a Steven Spielberg film. That said, this is a typical witty, insular, rather verbal addition to the Jaglom canon. However, I think his best films are "Eating" and "Last Summer In the Hamptons." The latter features an excellent performance from the always groovy Viveca Linfors

This is an altered remake of a 40's film called 'A guy named Joe.' Its about a fire fighter pilot that dies in his plane. He goes to heaven and is tasked with the job of giving inspiration to a new young pilot. The pilot he has to help falls for the same girl he did. I love this movie. It has good Special effects, a great story, and an all-star cast. I'm pretty sure it was Directed by Stephen Spielberg. Great movie
