Prospective parents everywhere, meet the world's least likely paternal role model: Adam Sandler! In Big Daddy, Sandler plays 30-year-old bachelor Sonny Koufax, a carefree slob who has never much taken to adult responsibilities; he works one day a week as a tollbooth collector, and spends the remainder of his time living off of a $200,000 reward he collected from an auto accident. All told, the life suits him just fine. However, as his old buddies start getting married and drifting away, Sonny realizes that if he doesn't do something soon, he could end up all alone for the rest of his life. When his most recent girlfriend, Vanessa (Kristy Swanson), indicates that she needs some time off because she's sick of being with a man who can't act like a grown-up, he decides that it's time to take drastic action to win her back. Conveniently enough, a little boy named Julian (Cole Sprouse and Dylan Sprouse) turns up on his doorstep, claiming that he's the biological son of Sonny's roommate and friend from law school, Kevin (Jon Stewart). The kid tells Sonny that he's from Buffalo, New York; Kevin has never been to Buffalo, New York, but no matter - Sonny foresees, in Julian, an opportunity to convince Vanessa that he can face adult responsibilities. He thus takes charge of the little boy over a long Columbus Day weekend, pretending to be Kevin. However, the plan doesn't work as expected, and the authorities hone in on a discovery of Sonny's real identity. Meanwhile, Sonny finds himself genuinely drawn to the tyke. Also supporting Sandler in Big Daddy are Joey Lauren Adams, Josh Mostel and Rob Schneider.

Life is a hard but you have to deal with the cards that have been dealt to you. Big daddy a comedy by Dennis Dugan and is a captivating film that makes the audience want to watch this movie. The movies about sonny Koufax (Adam Sandler) a slob who has never much taken adult responsibilities and he works one day a week as a tollbooth collector, and lives off or 200,000 reward he got from an auto accident and then his friends leaves to new York and sonny has to take care of his friends kid that he lies to the social services that it is his kid. Adam Sandler witch portrays sunny Koufax has to take care of his friends kid, when sunny doesn’t take care of his own responsibilities he has to take an extra step to do so. So than he has to take responsibilities and take Julian. But he really is just taking Care of Julian to impress a girl and it works for a while and he turns out loving Julian. Big daddy was one of my favorite movies growing up as a kid and i loved to watch it over and over again. It’s a very funny movie and has some drama in it. At the end of the movie its breath taking because he turns out to love Julian but can’t keep him. I would rate this movie a 4 out of 5. troy yang

Big Daddy is one of my favorite movies... it is hysterical! My family and friends all love it too, and we watch it so much. You just can't get sick of it. The story itself, the weird personalities and situations of the characters, the excellent acting, and the continuous jokes make this one of the best comedies EVER! After renting it lots and lots of times, I finally decided to buy it and it was worth it. Adam Sandler is great in it, and so are all the actors in the film. The twins that play the little boy are also really good.. and they are adorable. This is a terrific movie, and if you are thinking of buying it, then you definitely should. If you are looking for a funny, heartwarming, and all-around excellent movie, then wacth Big Daddy.

I loved this movie! Sonny Kofax gets a child delivered to his doorstep. He adopts him to prove his worth to his girlfriend, but having a kid is more than what Sonny expected. After Sonny's girlfriend takes off to be with another man, Sonny is on his own to raise the child. He can do it, but just when he starts to like the kid he is forced to return him. This is a steller movie -- funny, amusing, romantic -- the whole package. Take home ''Big Daddy'' today!
