Will Ferrell, Jon Heder, and Will Arnett headline this high-concept comedy concerning two male figure-skating rivals aching to compete despite having been banned from the sport. Their medals stripped after getting into a highly publicized fight at the World Championships, star figure skaters Chazz Michael Michaels (Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Heder) are barred from ever competing in the sport again. Upon discovering a loophole that will allow them to perform together in the pairs figure skating category, the two athletes determine to put their differences aside in order to pursue their gold medal aspirations. Amy Poehler, Jenna Fischer, Craig T. Nelson, and Rob Corddry co-star.

With perhaps even more humor than Anchorman, and a plot that unfolds like a tightly-wrapped package--similar to Elf in that regard, Blades of Glory ranks as Ferrell's top work. What more can be said?

What could you really expect from two actors that act about nothing. Jon Heder once again acts the way he did when he premiered with "Napoleon Dynamite," The way he's acted in every movie since. This film isn't funny, it's just plain bad. The only enjoyable parts are watching the brother sister rivalry against Jon & Will(and Jenna Fisher!!). Every element in this film is CGI, and the director makes it so clear (see the beginning). I'm sorry, but this has got to be the biggst waste of mediocre acting and money hollywood has seen. Having sat through this film at the theater, DVD could have been a better choice. At least then, you could pause it...
