this is the best season of buffy because it is the darkest season of buffy and because you never knew what to expect from one episode to another you were always guessing and i like that so this is a must for any buffy fan not just because its the best but it is the last

In this final season of Buffy she has become a 'Buffy for all seasons'. In the early season we found a happy go lucky Buffy who was just going through adolecense. She took these less seriously to cope with her fear but the following season we watched her growth into a young woman. In this 7th season we see a fully wmpowered buffy handle life, death and love as any adult would. She has come into her own. The season start with the introduction of 'Potential' slayers who are seearching for saftey and answers and Buffy must handle being both mentor and leader. There is so much in this seventh season that it's impossible to write. We get introduced to a new love interest for Willow and ultimate evil that Buffy may not be able to stop. Whendon does a superb jon ending this series. All I can say is that the finale will make you cry, cheer and wonder who will survive. It's one of the best finale I've ever seen. A must buy for fans.

i was so sad when buffy ended, but it was such a fantastic end that i almost forgave joss whedon... the only thing that i don't like about this season is that spike disappears at the end. i know that he reappears as this kind of...incorporeal ghostly dude on angel, but i've always enjoyed the relationship between buffy/spike and i absolutely loved them together. however, buffy/spike relationship aside, this season was a fantastic way to end the best tv show ever and i hope to see more of joss whedon's work in the future. but it still makes me sad that the cast doens't see each other everyday.

This season is pretty ok... Chosen is the best episode of the entire season... Loved Conversations With Dead People, Selfless, Same Time Same Place and Lessons (last scene).

I LOVE Buffy but this isn't the best season. I would definitely reccommend it though if you're like me -- collecting them all.

this was probably mi favorite season out of them all. the highlight of the episode 'chosen' was when buffy said 'i love you' 2 spike. That was probably mi favorite part out of all tha episodes. I would recommend this season 2 anyone!

I really enjoyed this last season. Yes, it was dark and I liked that. It made it more fascinating to watch. The writers and actors made these last episodes memorable. Bringing back Faith and Angel was ingenious! They added more to the story lines even though Angel was at the end of one episode and the beginning of the last. I enjoyed certain episodes in the other six seasons of 'Buffy' (the prom episode comes to mind as one of the best), but I enjoyed the last season the most.

I'm far too old to be a fan of this series, and yet... I own seasons 1 thru 6 on dvd. my young sisters got me into Buffy during season 2, I've been a fan since. Season 7 was dark and moody. Gone is a lot of the carefree bantor of the previous seasons. They've all grown up. I suppose they had to. I want to thank Joss and the gang for an enjoyable ride. I know that the series had to end, but, it will be missed. I have grown to love all the characters. (Anya was a particular a fave). I gotta admit they went out with a bang! Thanks again to all for the most believable show about vampires I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to a feature length movie. (at least think about it.)

Ok, the complete series are awesome. I mean I really think Buffy's the best show ever. But this season is not the best, of course is not the worst either (That's season 4). Season 7 has great moments and is a 'must have' for every fan of Buffy. The series finale 'Chosen' made me cry.

I am a rabid Buffy enthusiast. I never worked a Tuesday night so that I could always watch every episode live. I was a B/A fan, then a B/S fan, and I loved every minute of it up until Season 7. I don't know what came over Joss, but this was just the worst season ever. With the exception of about 4 episodes, I don't really feel the need to rewatch any of the episodes, those four involving mostly Spike, and the one about Anya, which was actually pretty good. It's just sad for it to have gone out on such a low note, considering how great it had been during it's run. I've always said I think it should have ended with the Gift in Season 5, and I'm sticking to that. But I do agree with whoever said that in comparing it to other shows, it would come out on a higher note, but only slightly higher. I normally would run out to the store to buy the latest Buffy DVD, and have the previous six times, but this time I think I'll just content myself with my videotaped ones.

I have loved the BtVS series from the very beginning, and through the years, I like so many others became a helpless and hopeless Buffy addict. After all the tragedy surrounding Willow and Tara, I thought it was so sweet that Willow got a new love interest in the form of a potential slayer, Kennedy. That made the ending of this season much sweeter for me and I really miss having a relationship like that on TV. I have to say that I loved every season of Buffy, including this one, and I thought it was a wonderful end to a great series. This dvd set has a great outtakes reel, and like all the other Buffy season sets, it has some great commentary on some of the best episodes.

The weakest season of Buffy, I would only consider getting this if you're such a hard-core fan that the extras will be worth it. The plot is full of holes, the dialogue is boring (a Buffy first), and some of the acting seems phone-ed in. There are three excellent episodes, Conversastions with Dead People, Selfless, and the series-finale Chosen. If you're new to the show, start with Season 2 or 3, and netflix the disks with the three good Season 7 episodes.

While many devote Buffy fans claim that the seventh and final season of the cult-hit 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' was not as strong as other seasons in the past, it is the final installment in a chapter of television history, therefore is worth the buy if only for that! Joss Whedon and his team create incredible memories in these 22 final episodes coming around 'full circle' to where it all began. Joss himself penned the finale 'Chosen' which even after multiple viewings provides new surprises and throwbacks to important moments of the past with these characters and this story. The weak spot of this season for myself is the introduction of too many secondary characters that seemed to have little interesting purpose until the last minute and distracted the story from our main 'Scooby Gang'. Favorite Episodes: Same Time, Same Place - quite possibly the creepiest villain since The Gentlemen. Selfless - laugh out loud episode telling the story of Anyanka. Potential - an episode featuring Dawn in a way we have never seen her before! Storyteller - hilarious and touching episode from the viewpoint of our helpless 'villain' Andrew. Chosen - Joss Whedon's own finale to the Buffyverse. That is not all, there are more great moments throughout many of the other episodes in good ol' fashion Buffy style! I really hope this review is helpful!

This is a great season of Buffy!!! I really like all the new characters introduced in this season, exspecially the potentials and principal wood. There were some very good episodes but some ideas in this season got sort of old. The last episode really did go out with a bang exactly what the Buffy magazine said. I also enjoyed when we once again see Buffys Mother, Joyce. I reccommend this season. Add it to your collection!!!

i enjoyed season 7 but i was kinda sad that this was going to be the last season of Buffy. this wasnt the best season of Buffy because since season 6 it has gotten alot more darker and the sex scenes got a little bit more intense which i didnt like because watching them was uncomfortable. I really like the series finale Chosen which Buffy, Faith, the Scoobies, and the Potential Slayers finally go into battle with The First. many of the Potential Slayers actually die during the battle which was kinda sad but it was really good. Angel actually makes 2 appearances in 2 episodes End of Days and the series finale Chosen which i was happy because i am a Buffy/Angel relationship kind of person. the finale was great but i wish it was longer. that was too bad that we are not gonna see any more Buffy or Angel on TV now that the shows are off the air.

Okay, I agree that the Seventh and final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the worst season but even Buffy at it's worst is better than other shows at their best (If that makes sense to you.) The main problems I had with this season was that the potential slayers were annoying whiney brats and I hated Kennedy who was too abrasive. Also sometimes the season felt rushed and forced but there are still some great episodes! I'm glad I bought this season and I highly recommend it!
