The plot of this movie includes a man who tries simultaneously to seduce a woman and her sister for money and land. In addition, there are graphic scenes in which the main character beats a child with a leather strap and locks him in a barn - the women find this to be acceptable treatment of the child. The mother of the children in the movie pays no attention to them and is so self-involved that she chooses the false attentions of the main character over her children leaving the children to fend for themselves against the abuses of the man. The plot and the scenes are shocking given the movie is listed as a comedy and a movie for the family/children.
