Filmed on location "Somewhere in France," this umpteenth version of Dumas' The Corsican Brothers stars the zoned-out comedy team of Cheech and Chong. Perhaps inspired by the Ritz Bros.' spin on The Three Musketeers, the duo retains enough of the original story (about twin brothers who feel one another's pain) to keep the plot going, but try to inject their own peculiar brand of humor throughout. The film's highlight is a duel with two loaves of stale bread. Yes, that's the highlight. Just as the 1930s comedy team of Wheeler and Woolsey lost their audience when they dropped their risque humor and Prohibition gags, so too do Cheech and Chong falter when not indulging in the drug-oriented comedy which made them famous in the early 1970s.

This Movie is Hilarious. Any fan of Cheech & Chong or any fan of comedy movies needs this one in their collection. I recomend this movie to everyone. This movie does not contain any drug humor (like most of Cheech & Chong's movies)so it IS suitable for people of all ages. This is a movie that an entire family could sit down and watch together and enjoy. You may need some parental decression at some parts but nothing VERY Vulgar or dirty is in this movie. If any remake is better than the original story this movie is it. This is THE FUNNIEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I think you will find it the same for you. In this movie Cheech & Chong fight with old bread, impersonate the Queen's hair stylist (and mess it up VERY badly in the process), and do the sort of crazy things Cheech & Chong do. Once again, I recomend this movie to EVERYBODY.
