This is the film that changed my life. To be completely honest, I was a walking shell of a man, drifting between the "loves of my life" and trying to combat a series of personal demons that were dragging me into a pit of despair. I was lost and downtrodden, and was attempting to find solace in film. Enter: Darkness Falls. I will never forget the first time I saw this movie. After an all night bender of drinking and self-depracating journal entries, I slumped down on my couch, hesitant to face a new day. To fall asleep, I surfed the channels, trying to find something to make it all go away. As a credit to God's divine wisdom, I randomly stumbled upon Darkness Falls, and my life was never the same. This movie, criminally under-rated by the academy and film-goers alike, is a triumph of movie making here-to-for unseen. The plot elements are mind-blowing; the way the themes of love, innocence, perseverence, hope, and social intolerance are interwoven seamlessly, creating a beutiful tapestry of godly inspiration. By the way, this whole review is an elaborate joke. While some may focus on the lackluster plot, uninspired characters, and incredibly chessy dialogue/pacing, I beg you to dig deeper. This movie is purification for the soul. The recurring theme of conquering ones demons is what resonated most with me. Though the hero in the film used a flashlight to keep the evils in his life at bay, I turned to the bottle. Only in the end, when he cast aside the flashlight and accepted God's holy light did everything make sense. Since viewing this masterpiece, I threw aside the demon in the bottle, created my own flashlight business (when God's light can't quite shine through), and met Bertha, a Russian circus performer and the love of my life. It all makes sense to me now, and only because of the divine inspiration provided to me by Darkness Falls. Without this movie, I might be a normal, flawed, questioning human being. But no more. I have seen the light.

As a long time Horror movie fan. I must say this has to be one of the best I have seen this year. From the beginning I was completely taken by the Storie, History of Matilda Dixon, and not to mention the sound she made while lurking in the dark.

This movie really stunk. It was so not scary. It was horrible. I have seen other scarier movies than this. Like for example The Shining, the Others and movies like that. This movie was nothing compared to those.

DARKNESS FALLS is the scariest horror movie that I have seeen in a long time. The film focuses on Kyle Walsh, (Chaney Kley) who as a young boy, claims to have awakened just in time to see the ''tooth fairy'' trying to kill him. Now, as an adult, he must return to the sleepy town of Darkness Falls to save his childhood friend, Caitlin and her little brother Michael from the tooth fairy before it's too late. Watch this movie!!! You won't regret it!

This movie has an exellent beginning scene. It will scar you. I watched this movie 4 times the first day i saw it. I just love it. The acting and lines used in it arn't very good, and some scenes are predictable. But still it packs a huge punch, STAY IN THE LIGHT

If you have seen the Ring and liked it, you will LOVE THIS MOVIE. Horror, suspense, and a perfect plot makes this movie complete. If you only see 3 movies this summer, see this 3 times.

The eerie sound that lets you know she's around is something that just stays in your head. I remember after I watched it I went to the reatroom and got frightened because the lights started fickering, I loved this movie. I enjoy getting scared, it's a huge rush. The plot is just classic, it's something that we grew up with and never knew about. I hope a movie with this kind of theme or plot comes out soon.

This storyline has been recycled in way too many ways. As the other genres are moving forward, movies like this show the horror genre is stuck somewhere in the 80's with Freddy and Jason. The word of the day is: innovation.

This movie was definitely the scariest I've seen in a while. I'm a real big horror fan and I was a bit shocked to find out that this movie made me jump (something other cheap rip offs try to do but fail every time). You really have to see this movie.
