This film is incredibly moving & touching. It is a shame it did not merit some oscar noms!

I was very surprised by this movie. I didn't expect it to be this good. It was a fabulous movie showing what the power of family can do. Alfre woodard was great in this movie... I really felt as if I was there in this small southern town, out in the middle of nowhere. Esther rolle was very realistic in her portrayal of someone with alzimers. Al Freeman was wonderful as the head of the family. The scenery was beautiful. It was a very emotional movie, taking you from one end to another. At the beginning of the movie alfre Woodard was not a very likeable character, but by the end of the movie, she is amazing!
