Kevin Reynolds' Fandango has managed to maintain a small but loyal cult audience thanks in part to the early-career appearances by Kevin Costner and Judd Nelson. Warner Bros. debuts the film on DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio. The English soundtrack has been mixed in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Mono. Supplemental materials are limited to the original theatrical trailer. This is an acceptable but by-the-numbers release.

A truly great movie to relate to if you grew up in high school or college with a really tight group of friends. Great Soundtrack. A Guy movie.

One of my favorite movies! Too bad it's not out in DVD. Some classic moments with memorable characters. When I first saw it in 1984, I could tell that Costner was going to become an acomplished actor. He really stands out here. The music soundtrack is wonderful including some Pat Metheny and Blind Faith (with Steve Winwood), etc. This is definately a ''Guy Flick'' that won't alienate the ladies.

this one is a little quirky but i think that is partly why it is one of my favs story is pretty unique involving a quest of a physical object but it is a quest of the spirit and youth get this movie you will like it
