This movie is classic! 'The Gods Must Be Crazy' succeeds in being both a slapstick and a satire. It's zany characters and quirky storyline are hilarious. Also amusing is the ways in which the movie gently pokes fun at traditional Western ideals of intelligence and sophistication. I saw this movie as a kid and I still love it 20 years later. Highly recommended!

This movie was first recommended to me by my professor (Dr. Brown) teaching the Psychology of Language course at UNCA. I am glad to say that I took his advice. Perhaps you will be glad to take his advice also as one actually gets to see and hear members of the San people going about their everyday lives and get to hear a glottal stop used as a part of a word. Both movies are very good.

Part one of this set is exceptionally funny in a clean way. Part two is not as funny, but it is still good clean fun.
