As this being the first season that I own, I found it to be most interesting. Each actor does an excellent job performing with their intriging scripts. I watched this series non-stop when i first got it. Although I found that most of the shows were a little fast paced because of the climatic drama points before every place there should have been commercials. But, this is a flaw that adds to the feeling of the Star Trek series and will be seen throughout all of the seasons.

With the new Star Trek movie out, I decided to go back and watch a few of the other series that I have. As it turned out, I ran out of disks, and back to the store I went to get another season of "Star Trek: The Next Generation". This time I picked up season 5, and I have to tell you that it is full of excitment, intrigue, adventure, and so much more. My favorite episode for this season is, 'Disaster'. Can't remember it? Well take a moment to buy season 5, and you'll be glad that you did.
