Due to the movie my daughter and I originally went to see at the theatre being sold out we decided to see this movie instead. We enjoyed "The Nanny" but were a tad skeptic about a movie with Fran. We were both quite surprised! This movie was very entertaining, funny and Fran was quite the big screen actress! I bought the movie on tape as soon as it was released and do plan on buying the DVD. I have to agree with the previous reviews, there is no filth, no bad language and it is a true chick flick you can enjoy with the kids :)

I am a huge fan of Fran Drescher so, I knew that this movie would be a must see hit and I was right. At first I was not sure if any thing was going to happen between Joy and Boris but it did. Although the truth does come out in the end that does not stop Boris from loving Joy. It just goes to show you that true love does prevail in the end. This movie is alot like The Nanny in some ways and not so much in others. If you liked or even loved the Nanny then this is a must see.

I love this movie!!! And I love Fran Dresher!!! Every chance I get I watch it. I'm cracking up every time. I think I watched it about 50 times already, if not more. If you just want to have a good time, watch this movie.

This movie I got to say is my all time favorite it is a romance/comedy and its good for the children no cursing and no premaridal scenes that they show everyday on tv now I highly recomend this movie

Though this movie never gained much acclaim while in the theaters and after its release on video, I found it to be quite entertaining. It certainly isn't an Oscar contender, but it is intrinsically brilliant. Fran Drescher is irresistible as the beautician, and it surprisingly easy to love Mr. Porchenko as well (especially after he forsakes his moustache for the purpose of softening his image, courtesty of Joy). A must see for those who enjoy a romantic comedy that doesn't contain an abudance of ''mush.''
