Overview

According to local legend, the ghosts of tortured slaves still haunt New Orleans' Lalaurie House. For The St. Francisville Experiment, a paranormal researcher, a self-proclaimed psychic, a Louisiana historian, and a filmmaker were given digital video cameras for one night in the house to document whatever they saw. Prior to the film's release, Trimark Pictures declined to release the names of the filmmaker and the participants or to clarify whether the film was a documentary or a fiction in the guise of a documentary, like The Blair Witch Project.

I have never been so frightened by a movie to where I can not look into a mirror at night, "bloody Mary" or not.

This movie starts out really slow however once you hit the middle to the end it will keep you on the edge of your seat. After watching this movie i was shaking it was soo cool. I would recomend this to anyone who believes in the supernatural.

Fans of LIvingTV's 'Most Haunted' Series, The Linda Blair Hosted 'Scariest Places On Earth' and Shannen Doherty's 'Scare Tactics' will love this frightful chiller!...4 people locked in an old haunted house with recording equipment to try and record any paranormal/poltergeist activity...Relies on atmosphere and mood for some truly 'Jump-Out-Of-Your-Seat' moments...a strong unknown cast helps as does the 'documentary' style in which the film is shot...With Halloween coming up, turn off the lights and watch it alone....IF YOU DARE!!!!

The St.Francisville Expirament is video-taped by the actors, which makes it seem a little better than blair witch in my opinion. After watching the movie youre sure to think its absolutely cheesey but in the back of your mind you'll wonder if it could be true.

I never get tired of this movie and have to bring it to every sleepover with a bunch of my friends to scare them. Honestly, I probably wouldn't be able to watch this movie alone. I recommend it to anyone who loves scary/paranormal/ghost stuff. Two thumbs up!

This parody of 'reality tv' and documentries in general as well as BWP is the best I've seen. Even still, it's annoying at times but gives some genuine scares and great laughs. A fun no-brainer kind of movie!
