This superb miniseries from England arrives as a two-disc set from Palm Pictures and Manga Entertainment. The print is presented in widescreen (non-anamorphic) with an aspect ratio of 1.55:1. The soundtrack choices are Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital 2.0. Given the dark nature of the series, it is refreshing to see that the picture is without any major flaws. Each disc features scene selections for each episode, episode summaries, and a "UV Dictionary" that defines numerous words used in the production. There is also an audio interview with the creator/director of the series, Joe Ahearne, which runs approximately 15 minutes per disc. A hidden feature on each disc can be accessed by pressing the Palm Pictures logo on the main menu page. When accessed, it shows a bevy of previews for future releases for the company. A slick and nicely designed package.
