Arguably in his most important role, John Travolta shines as a down-and-out factory worker in a world where the white man does not rule. In the reversal of roles, racism in this film is exhibited in a different prism where the white man is the discriminated and the black man is the leader. Anybody that would like a fresh look at race, this certainly is the matinee for you.
