"This book will take you on a journey about a young man who grew up as a troubled youth, hustling and doing anything but the right thing. This is a story of great change and perseverance. In 1999 he turned his life back over to Christ and 4 years later in 2003, he accepted his calling to preach. From selling drugs, running and hustling on the streets, Rod shares his gritty story of being able to make it in a world where some don't get out alive. Time after time, God showed patience with him as he continued to do the very things he knew were wrong. The path of destruction which lay before Rod was wide and broad, but eventually he chose the narrow path into his calling.

This book is a powerful example of God's amazing grace and a testament to strengthen the faith of every Christian just as it did mine. It reiterates that the enemy is a formidable foe but our God is omnipotent. A must read for every Christian and a reminder that as Christians our faith will be tested.
