I have recently been interested in the Book series. And after I fought through its Turkish representation, I found out that I adore it. However, I can only find the book in Turkish taranslation, which makes it impossible to understand. Such as: - When what I presume "Jofrey can be polite, when it suits him" is translated by the recent Turkish publisher, it comes out as: "Joffrey is polite when he looks good in it". The family lines are all mixed up in the Turkish version because the translater could not realy comprehand the two meanings of "sister". So a family member might be represented as a "nun". More than any context mistakes, there is this use of very old Turkish words. They are only used in Notary texts now. And maybe in 5 punto "conditions" on a Bank waiver. It took me an effort to decode and understand Games of Thrones. I did warn the Turkish publisher. I am myself a freelance translator and can see the mistakes clearly. They translate sayings "as is". So "deflowering" comes out something like "blooming" :). This is a disgrace for the presentation of Games of Thrones in Turkey. 'Thought I should warn you.
