Queen's The Platinum Collection places the group's three previously released Greatest Hits albums into one box set -- colored platinum, of course. Although this doesn't serve much use for fans who already have all three collections -- or all of the albums, for that matter -- it is useful for listeners who want to get all three discs in one fell swoop, and it's not a bad item for collectors to pick up (the kind of collectors who collect items and product, not the ones who just need the music).

Great collection of classic Queen tunes. Powerful and rhythmic, with a whole lot of soul. Nice assembly of varying styles and sounds. Don't miss out on this one.

The most amazing songs and the most amazing voice (Freddy Mercury) can only lead to one thing: the most amazing band! This was my first cd of Queen I ever got and I immediately became a huge fan! This music is absolutely addicting. No two songs are the same and none are boring in the least bit. It actually leads me to wonder 'Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?' It sure could be. Never in my life have I ever heard a band as wonderful. Killer Queen indeed!

This is a very good ensemble of Queen music. This set is Greatest Hits I,II,& III combined, and is a great compilation of Queens' greatest/best remembered hits. Included are everyone's favorite Queen songs BoRhap, WWRY, WATC, and many others. It also includes several teary-eyed songs such as 'Those Were the Days(of our lives)' which was the last music video with Queen still intact and 'Only the Good Die Young' written as a tribute to Freddie. Any Queen song on any album is worth a few listens and that definitely applies to this album. The Platinum Collection is excellent for the average fan and I recommend it to all Freddie fans and anyone who has ever clapped their hands to WWRY or sang along in the car to Bo Rhap, but for all of us serious 'Queenies' the individual albums are a better choice.:-)

Queen is my favorite band of all times!!! I am enjoying this collection very much. It is just missing a few songs I'd wish were there. But overall I loved it!!!!

This three-disc set contains all of the Queen songs you could ever ask for and more! The booklet that comes with this set is pretty cool too... You are never going to find all of this stuff together at a lower price.

Being a fan of Queen for several years now, this just topped it off (for the time being). I couldn't believe how these 3 cd's quenched my thirst for the absolute wonder that Queen's music brings me. I believe that this cd was worth every single cent i spent on it. I give these cd's 10 stars out of 5.

If you are a fan of Queen than this is a great collection of their hits for you. Put the CD on and you will feel uplifted by the beat of their music and many of you will have fond memories of the time in your life that you first heard a particular song.

All the songs are great, but in my opinion I think that "Love of my Life" should be there too.

If you're a fan this really is a fantastic compilation. in the three cds there are not only great originals from the band but extra tracks from the Freddie tributes done over the years including the Show must go on with Elton John and Somebody to Love with George Michael as well as a remixed version of Under Pressure with David Bowie.

Good buy, but like many recent Greatest Hits compilations this disc doesn't have some of their '70s FM hits like "SPREAD YOUR WINGS" and "'39", and features glaring omissions of "LOVE OF MY LIFE", "TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN" and "GET DOWN, MAKE LOVE". Those songs are what Queen should be remembered by, rather than things like "Body Language" and "The Invisible Man" (included here). None of the songs here are bad, but they're not necessarily the ones that gave Queen such a following. We will have to keep waiting for a good comprehensive Queen collection.

i am a huge Queen fan, along with Pink Floyd and Doors and Beatles and... but with all the songs of Queen i have listened to (ALL) i got this collaberation of songs and felt a little disapointed.. "Spread your Wings" is not even mentioned "39" is not mentioned. personally i would take out "body language" (i never got into that song) my favorite disc is disc 2 the whole album is rocked out "Radio Ga Ga" is great "Innuendo" has the most imagineative solo i've heard. Brian and Freddy are two moster songwriters, like Paul and John, the new songwriters to meet that rank Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howell of Tool and A Perfect Circle.
