What makes a church a vitally important part of the lives of its members? What makes the church so valuable, in a community? Ultimately, it is the connection with spirit. Churches offer havens to those weary of the materialistic, competitive parts of daily life. They offer a refuge to those who need healing. This book offers no doctrine. Its sole purpose is to describe activities that seem to vivify members of churches. We have found each activity cited in this book used in at least one church. We have yet to find a church that uses even half of them. We can't solve the problems of the world ourselves... but we can offer useful ideas, that have a proven track record. This book offers ideas for people to work together, to make their churches more fun. The title is intended to show that ideas are offered to help churches heal, and also to so that churches are places of spiritual healing.

About the Author
The authors are a small mission outreach ministry church, working mainly in the more challenged areas of Hartford, Connecticut. We provide household goods, and Christmas presents and party supplies, for people who would otherwise go without. We provide books in English, and in Spanish, to the public library, and to persons interested. We have set up small private libraries for single parents. We have also helped similar efforts in Ghana, Kenya, Venezuela, Brazil, and India. Mother Theresa said that if you can't feed 100 people, feed just one. We are doing the "just one" task, though we've found we can sometimes do more than just one.
