I have read someother state histories: North Dakota (2 of them), Wyoming, Nevada, Virginia, Kentucky, and Kansas. They were of interest and this one was also, though there weres ome dry stretches. The most interesting I thought was the account of the turbulent years from 1860 to 1889, maybe because I knew least about those years. It helped mthat I have traveled some in the state, live only a few miles from it, mywife was born and raised there, ad a daughter lives in it.
