I bought this book so I could practice reading a real book in Spanish. I'm trying to learn the language so the more I read, the more I understand. Since I'm a student, I wanted to read a book that a Spanish speaking student would read to learn their own language. It was good.

This is a wonderful translation of the original in English. I speak both, English and Spanish, at a native's speaker's level, and I read to my daughter in Spanish, most of the time. This translation keeps the wittiness and rhymes of Dr. Seuss' books. Also, it's a beautiful story that my daughter and I enjoy over and over again. However, beware, not all Dr. Seuss books' translations are good. The ones we enjoy at home are: Hueveos verdes con jamón, Un pez, dos peces, pez verde, pez azul, Cómo el Grinch robó la Navidad, and El gato con sombrero viene de nuevo. Enjoy! ¡Que disfruten!
