I read this book in one sitting. I could not put it down. The suspense, action and interplay of the characters kept me on the edge of my chair. Seal Team 6 is a group of the finest individuals I have encountered in the written word. They are real human beings, fully fleshed out in depth. The action and adventure, whether climbing a mountain or chasing a terrorist stays withy me long after I finish the book. I can't emphasize enough the top quality writing that makes this book so compelling. I finished it drained, but thirsty for more. Hunt the Wolf is one of the greatest.

As a fan of Vince Flynn, Brad Taylor, Howard Wasdin and Stephen Templin's books, I was expecting similar suspense and dangerous situations by Don Mann in his book Hunt the Wolf. I got it all in spades! A fast moving,rip-roaring story of the Seals defeat of terror from one port to another. I love the weaponry, explosions, and annihilation of the enemy! There's danger around every corner and I'm totally addicted. Packed with commandos and military action. I've already bought Hunt the Scorpion, the next book in the series, and I look forward to another great read!

This book is a very fast read. It is such a quick read because of the pacing of the story line makes it difficult to put down. The novel is about a group of Seals sent to capture a terrorist in Karachi, Pakistan and the convoluted trail to the final show down with the terrorist. There is a side story of white slavery that becomes intertwined with the pursuit of the terrorist. While the story is good, some of the action seems to be beyond belief.

Navy SEAL Tom Crocker has led his Team 6 on many missions against terrorists who target the United States of its friends. Now he seems to have met his match in an al-Qaeda agent who has been having success with his targets. After one of the associates of Abu Rasul Zaman is eliminated, Crocker finds evidence of a major operation under way against the West and U.S. friends. At the same time, there are a number of young people across Europe who are being kidnapped and sold to Arabs. Crocker is asked to find one of them whose family is friends with the King of Norway. There isn't a lot of depth to the characters but there is nonstop action and excitement throughout the book. It's a sheer pleasure to read this exciting book.

The US Embassy in Morocco is attacked and the Seal Team is sent to capture a terrorist but he slips away. While climbing a mountain Tom Crocker leans of a young girl that was kidnapped and as a promise to the King of Norway he will search for her. It turns out the terrorist is also in the human trafficking business. While Crocker gets beat up, hurt and sent to the hospital, he is ready and willing to continue his search. There is action, but there is also the whole section of mountain climbing that could have been another story and pulls away from the opening. It was okay but it didn¿t hold my interest.

Looking into the ideology and mission focus of a Navy Seal team leader, the things he took for granted, the things he depended on, and the heights he pushed himself too. A look into the life and struggles of the modern warfare. The dedication, training and commitment of modern soldiers in an increasingly difficult and convoluted war. One man's commitment training and sacrifice show the heights of human endurance, strength of character, the commitment of brotherhood. Faced with insurmountable odds, devilish enemies, and faulty political systems. Can this Seal team leader get his illusive target. Stop a league of human traffickers, get his brothers home. Oh and don't forget to climb K2.

I've always been curious about the Navy SEALS and I loved the book SEAL Team Six: Hunt The Wolf by Don Mann. The storyline is well-written, fast paced, and full of action. To me, it was an exciting novel and kept me turning the pages. The characters were wonderful and I enjoyed reading this book. I'm looking forward to reading Don Mann's SEAL Team Six: Hunt The Jackal. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and Net Galley in exchange for my honest review. This review is one hundred percent my opinion. Thank you Net Galley and Mulholland Books for the opportunity to read SEAL Team Six: Hunt The Wolf by Don Mann.

Our main character is Tom Crocker. He is the leader of this small band of Seals, part of Seal Team 6. Tom spends a good portion of the early part of the novel in introspection as he goes through his days. The team is sent to a terrorist hotspot to try to capture a specific terrorist. Their cover is climbing a mountain. Tom intends to take his team climbing as a training exercise after they finish the mission.  The mission is unsuccessful and disappointing. They head for the mountain and start climbing. Through the climb, we learn more of their characters. And continue to get a feel for who Tom Crocker is and the kind of leader he is. While on the mountain he meets a man who is specifically looking for Tom to enlist his help in tracking down who is kidnapping young men and women from his country.  Tom doesn’t get approval for this, but is instead sent on another mission to find a terrorist in connection to the one his team tried to capture earlier. It turns out the kidnappers and the terrorist are closely related.  This is a fast action packed story. I enjoyed it very much and impressed by the dedication of the Seals. Which I believe represents the real life dedication of the Seals. I recommend this book for anyone who likes thrillers, military, spy, and adventure novels. It’s a great read.
