Super-heroes using their powers to change the world Mark Millar & Frank Quitely take us on ride starting with a group of young people gaining super-powers in 1932 and passing them on to their offspring. The first lot of action takes place in 2013 and involves the argument of whether they should use their powers for good, fighting crime and super-villains or to change the world for the better. This leads to conflict between the members of this super-family. Scenes of sex and gory violence ensue. We then skip to 2022, some of the family in hiding and their fight back.. The artwork is detailed and well-made. The writing is strong and interesting. The concept is engaging. Volume 2 should be interesting at the very least.
