I am 59 years old, and I have been searching for this book for years. I finally found it. Googling "witch" doesn't get one anywhere near close to the book. I read it as a little girl and always wanted to be "little witch." (in the end)
I too heard this story when I was a child. I was so excited to see that it was in print once again.
Love this book.. I remember getting it out of the library dozens of times in the 80's. I read it over and over and even tried to buy it from the school library but no dice.. I was excited to see ti re-released and my 5 year old has asked to read it with me!
