Spoilers (?) follow:You're either going to love something like this or hate it. Me, I loved it. The entire book is, on its face, is devoted to describing in great detail the lives of the inhabitants of, literally, a cylinder of "50 metres round and 18 high." It's an "(A)bode where lost bodies roam each searching for its lost one."And really, describing the rest of the plot would be pointless; as I intimated above, this is a book for those who like experimental postmodernism at its most extreme or who are at least willing to give it a try. Others won't likely get much enjoyment out of it.Also, the translation, by the author, struck me as a bit rough in a few places. On the other hand, given Beckett's way with words, who can tell for sure?
