I purchased this book in preparation for a trip to Rome and the Sistine Chapel. I wanted detail sof the paintings and illistrations of the detail so that I could fully appriciate the intricasies. This book had very few pictures and no details of the actual Sistine Chapel. It was more about he life of the artist, which is interesting but not what I was looking for in this instance.
