The Backstreet Boys finally broke (and broke big) in America during 1998, as if by design. They had been Euro sensations for a couple of years, but it wasn't until Backstreet's Back was unleashed in the U.S. in 1997 that they had a presence in the States, and it was no small presence, either -- after selling over ten million copies, the album remained in the Top 40 on the eve of the release of its sequel, Millennium. And sequel is the appropriate word -- Millennium has no pretense of being anything other than an album for the moment, delivering more of everything that made Backstreet's Back a blockbuster. There's a familiar blend of ballads and dance-pop, a similar shiny production, a reliance on the Boys' charisma that brings to mind the debut. If Millennium were anything other than big, glossy mainstream pop, such calculation may be a little unseemly, but in this context, it can be rather fun. True, the album doesn't pack as much punch as its predecessor -- there's a number of good songs, but more filler than before, and the Backstreet sound isn't as fresh as it was the first time around -- but it does deliver what fans want: more of the same. And since there are singles as infectious as "I Want It That Way" and a handful of good ballads, that will be enough to satisfy anyone craving more, more, more.

OMG this is the BEST CD ever!!! I LOVE NICK!!!
The backstreet boys are de bom!!! There music is fantastic!!! I think i know every bsb song and have all their cds!
I really enjoy the Backstreet Boys cd
This is a good album in that every song is good to listen to. I don't skip any of the songs on this album. *nsync has a couple of good songs on thier but what makes the BackstreetBoys superior is that ALL of their songs are good. I can't wait untill the next cd comes out. I'm a major BSB fan now. Thanks Vanessa (my suitemate) for introducing me to the world of BSB and rescuing me from *NSYNC fad-dom.
See bsb are very talented and you can see that they are growing in there music. There voices are changing and getting richer by the min. This cd is the best
It is indeed a great start for a brand new Millenium from the boys to the hearts of their fans! The title itself suggests what a brand new them in terms of their ever refreshing music and album. Definitely this is going to be one of my most favourite albums in my collection!
now ,,in this cd everybody can saw if they just not sell face but they relly,,,sell they voice..this cd very deeply meaning for pop music,c'om BSB i'm gonna support you u'til you old,as long you always make music. i'm your fans # in the world who enjoy your music four 5 years, and almost every night i hear your music, i'm your fan's from asia .indonesia
The Backstreet Boys are totally awesome. This CD is so good. All the songs are wonderful. I think that they are the best 'boy band' out there. This is a MUST CD for everyone's collection. So if you don't already own it, then buy it!
I love this CD!!! Every song on Millennium is GREAT!!! They've won award after award and will get their first Grammy soon. Very soon! They diserve it! Their wonderful voices and catchy tunes have captured people young and old alike. I would recommend Millennium to everyone. This is their best! For now at least. Go get it and enjoy!!! ~ Their Forever Fan
I have neer heard anything so great in my life. They have taken the world by surprise. They deserve it all!!! Love The Perfect Song written for Brians mom. LOVE THEM ALL!!! It's great!!
With their newest album, ''Millenium', the Backstreet Boys have made a more mature, sexier version of the music we've grown to love! They have changed their music somewhat, but not enough to lose fans. They have grown wonderful as artists and regular people. My favorite song is Nick's sexy, soulful ''I Need You Tonight''. It shows his more mature sound. You can tell he's trying to turn someone one. They have also grown because they've started writing more of their own songs. Ex. Kevin's ''Back To Your Heart'' and Brian's ''Perfect Fan''.
It was the single worst cd i ever bought and im sorry i did. how anyone could listen thru any of these songs amazes me. dont waste your time withthis cd. buy something interesting like santana's new cd:supernatural
I absolutley give the Millenium Album 5 stars because they put os much emotion and effort into this album and they deserve a whole lot of credit for it. I'd give this album 100,000,000 stars. they are the bestboy band ever!!! BSB all the way.
This album was SO good. The BSB are the BEST BOY BAND EVER!!!!! I don't care what anyone says. If you don't already have this CD, I recommend that you buy it. I can't wait for their new album!
i think that bsb is da bomb but NOT because there cute (don't get me wrong i know there cute) but because they work soo hard at their music. also because they gave up most of their free-time to make their fans happy and also because it's what they wanted and i admire that because they (and as my old teacher would say reach for the stars) went for it and achieved their goals.
I thought this great, I listen to it practically all the time.
awesome cd I recomend it cuz they have awesome voices.
No offense, there are some nice songs. I particularly like ¿I Want It That Way¿ and ¿Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely.¿ They went zero for seven at this year¿s Grammy Awards. Good for them `cause Santana¿s ¿Supernatural¿ rolled on them!!
Ithink you should defenitly buy this c.d.
The Boys have really expressed their true talent - I think their at their BEST
they rock this album ruleees
NO!!! If you want excellent talent, excellent bods, and excellent music, listen to these guys and they'll take you all the way. If you don't want those three things, check out N'SYNC. BSB is even awesome live and are unbelievably sweet people. You go guys!
I THINK THIS IS A REALLY GOOD C.D. MY FAVORITE SONG ON THIS C.D.IS THE ONE.
These guys are the BEST!!! Brian is obviously the big talent of the group, but they're all AWESOME! And their music is clean without being immature. While some other groups are dishing out racier lyrics to seem grown up, Backstreet has accomplished the same thing through wholesomeness. Keep it up!
I thin this is their best album yet. I've been a fan of the group since the begining and I always will be. They are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
