Every couple has a story. Good times and bad. When you've been married to Marietta, Montana's infamous "Fish Whisperer" for forty-odd years, Louise Jenkins fears the "What should I leave out?" stories may outnumber the "Wasn't that the best time ever?" memories. But, their beginning...that part of their love story is definitely worth remembering...and sharing.

When their newly enlarged family gathers to celebrate Christmas, Louise and OC share that gift most precious of all...the truth. Unvarnished. Some good. Some bad. A real life love story of two survivors who gave each other gifts beyond price and stayed together because love makes all things possible.

I have read the other books in this series, so it was nice to learn more about Louise and Oscar Jenkins and all they went through to find love. This quick story is the perfect addition to the Big Sky Mavericks books.

Her Forever Gift is short, direct and to the point. It gives clarity and understanding to Bailey's story in Come Home, Cowgirl about her parents relationship.

Only 45 pages, glad it was free. I really wasn't impressed with it. It was just too short & not much of a story line. GJRA

This book goes to show reality!!! No family is just happy all the time. We all have ups and downs and things we are embarresed of in our past. Im not going to say all families should stay together but divorce has become to easy so people take the easy way out. Im not judging because im divorced for a muliple reasons...un fixable do i wish we could have grown old together yes i do with all my heart. I didnt throw 28 yrs of marriage away if i thought it was salvagable. This is why a story like this is so beautiful because people do work thru their problems and stay togeather, my parents were a couple that did and ive seen many couples do it. L.d

Loved it! Love, laughter, revelation, surprise, joy, family, hardship, and, of course, heartfelt tears.
