The hot sound of Latin music has filtered into the gospel music arena with the release of More More More from Fred Hammond protégé Joann Rosario. Rosario's debut release, which falls under the umbrella of Hammond's new label venture, F. Hammond Music, contains some of the same sassiness that has helped Latin pop/R&B counterpart Jennifer Lopez become a household name. Those who follow gospel music closely may be familiar with the project's beautiful title track "More, More, More." It first appeared on Hammond's 2001 multi-artist compilation project In Case You Missed It and Then Some.... Another ballad that is sure to make its mark is the Yolanda Adams/Fred Hammond-penned charmer "As We Overcome." Rosario displays her bilingual skills on the groove-filled, Latin-influenced track "Follow Me/Sigueme." For some pure, unadulterated funk, Rosario delivers the goods on "Serve You Only." If that isn't funky enough, try on the song's remix for size. More More More is urban music at its level best.

I bought this at the local record store (sorry b&n) because it is produced by Hammond. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home. She has a beautiful voice. She is also of hispanic descent so although it is a r&b contemporary gospel album Hammond does an excellent job of weaving in hispanic influences on some of the songs. Now my kids and I have another album to dance to while we glorify Him. Get this cd, get this cd!!!More, more, more is wonderful. Praise Jesus for His talented singers.

This album is what made Joann a star on the scene. It is a very hip, R&B-like christian Album. I agree that Joann is a very annoited sister! Too bad the same can't be said about her father, Nahum Rosario. I feel so bad for the people that attend Maranatha World Wide Ministries. I know people that attend that so called "church" and I myself have visited a few times. Nahum acts like a dictator at that church. He also sends other men, "Pastors", like they call them, to act the same way over other branches of the same church. Its a very sad thing. I am actually very glad to see the many people are starting to realize the truth about this church. The one good thing that came out of there would be Joann. As long as that same spirit does not go into her, Joann will do many good things in christian music. I hope that K-love will soon start to play her music. In my opinion, her music is much better than many artists that are played on K-love.

Joann is truly an annointed sister! She has a beautiful voice! I can truly say that every song on this project is inspiring, especially my favorite, As I come into Your House. Joann has truly broken cultural barriers with this project and it has truly been a blessing in my life and if you don't have it...u need to get it!
