Overview

What is more memorable than a child first learning to tie his shoes? Or wrapping his first Christmas presents? Knots aren't easy to learn, but they are very helpful—whether you are five years old, ten years old, or even fifty years old. Here is a children's picture book that will help parent and child learn together by simplifying the craft and bringing the reader into the world of knots through beautiful, detailed illustrations. My First Book of Knots is a landmark gift that will impact children (and craft-loving adults) with hours of fun and a lifetime of skills.

Create memories and embark on the journey of knot tying together. In My First Book of Knots, you'll learn how to tie knots you can use in fishing, camping, ranching, farming, and more. You'll learn how Santa Claus ties up his sack full of presents and how to tie a knot that will make it easy to carry heavy objects. Every step of each knot is drawn out for you and includes clearly written instructions. After you read this book, you can save the day with a square knot and wow your friends with a double figure eight bend.

The book, My First Book of Knots by Berndt Sundsten and Jan Jäger is perfect guide for children and adults! You can actually learn some great knots for many purposes inside. Really, it's like the most common types used in everyday projects and work. So to learn something that is needed when doing certain things like fishing, making bracelets, to tie a tie, tie your shoes, attaching the boat with a knot, or many others can be easily found and learned inside. Plus, many of the knots can be great in creative crafts too! I honestly love that it's a small book, perfect for kids and easy for anyone to understand. The photos are simple to follow and the information inside is easy to read and understand. I love the guidance and even if it's not a child reading this book, you can really get a great idea on how to make knots for all purposes, just think of this as a perfect beginners book! Finally, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a fast way to learn about specific knots used in all types of jobs and projects. It's easy to follow and has cute illustrated photo examples. Anyone can use this, it really does come in handy!
