I read this book in two night just before bed. This book gives a general outlook on what people at a certain time believed in. Each section is outlined and easy to follow. Every page is in color and the pictures are interesting. The down side is that each section is a general overlook. The font is small when reading the captions. I recommend this for a quick reference for any library.

An excellent resource for my college class on mythology. The basic sources material would be of great help in beginning research for their term papers. Excellent for a visual generation.
