Many who know of Fr. Donald know him because of his conversion story. He has spoken of it at conferences, on television, radio, online, and wherever he can spread the message. This book finally captures in print how Divine Mercy, through the intercession of the Blessed Mother, touched his life. In his own words, No Turning Back recounts Fr. Donald's personal story of conversion after reading a book about Our Lady. Though today he is a devout Catholic Marian priest, Fr. Donald's early years were no indication of what was to come. Before his conversion to Catholicism, he was a high school dropout who had been kicked out of a foreign country, institutionalized twice and thrown in jail multiple times. Discovering a book on Our Lady led to his conversion and ardent love of Mary and the Church. As a priest in the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception, Fr. Donald has completed advanced studies in Mariology and strives to share his own love of Mary. Currently Fr. Donald is the House Superior of the Marian House of Studies in Steubenville, OH, and Vocation Director for the Marians.

About the Author

Rev Donald Calloway, M.I.C. is the assistant rector of the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA. As a convert, to the Catholic Faith, Father Calloway left a rebellious life of wine, women and song to embrace God's saving truth. After studying at the Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH and the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., he was ordained to the sacred priesthood in 2003. Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, a prominent Marian priest, exhibits an unmistakable zeal for the priesthood and devotion to Our Lady. He is a well-known conference speaker on Divine Mercy and the Blessed Virgin Mary. He speaks passionately about these topics in his moving conversion story. In addition, he is the editor of the books The Virgin Mary and Theology of the Body and The Immaculate Conception in the Life of the Church. In his latest book, Purest of All Lilies, he explores St. Faustina's rich relationship with Mary – from her love of Mary growing up in Poland to her life as a nun, when the Blessed Mother taught her important lessons about suffering, purity of heart, and humility.

From personal experience, a great tool to help you strengthen your faith by learning how God's plan works or at the very least the powers of Divine Mercy! If you have a young adult in the same circumstances as Fr. Calloway and want to create a bridge of communication and help he/she will see it as REAL. Thus if you are currently walking in the faith this book could be used as a guiding tool to help someone in the same circumstance as Fr. Calloway. If you read it as an autobiographical work it will make you want to learn more about the meaning of Hope, Faith and Love from the Christian perspective. You will not be disappointed get it!
