When Britney Spears perkily popped onto MTV last year with the well-choreographed clip for the infectious "...Baby One More Time," no one guessed (besides Jive Records' savvy marketing team) that the Louisiana teen would start a fashion trend with Catholic school girl pleats and knee-highs, or more important, that Spears would spawn a slew of young, flaxen-haired starlets such as fellow Mouseketeer Christina Aguilera, the giggly Mandy Moore, and the virtuous Jessica Simpson. Now as the challenges to her throne mount, the original queen of teen is back with Oops!...I Did It Again. And as the title predicts, Spears has done it again. Using the same winning combination as ...Baby One More Time -- thin yet pleasing vocals cooing over catchy pop songs heavy on bubbling synth hooks and punctuated bass-lines -- the cutey turned hottie has another bona fide hit album on her hands. Just as the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync re-merged with a more mature sound on their sophomore efforts, so has Spears. Thanks to pop über-producer Max Martin (Celine Dion, Backstreet Boys), Spears shines on the tongue-in-cheek lead single, the triumphant "Stonger," and the rousing, get-lost declaration "Don't Go Knockin' on My Door." Kudos also go to country diva Shania Twain, who cowrote the polished ballad "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know," and to Spears, who co-wrote the confessional "Dear Diary." While die-hard Rolling Stones fans may flinch at her almost guitar-less verison of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," Spears' breathy delivery gives the song a pulse-raising sense of urgency. As a whole, Ooops! tells the story of a young woman coming to terms with the peaks and valleys of being Miss Popular -- from fame to boys to breaking hearts. But from all indications, Spears will continue her ascent.

I think the album title is amazing and it sounds great! Opps.....You Did It Again Britney with the great voice of yours!
One year ago, she released her first new album titled ...Baby One More Time which sold more than 12 million copies. One year later, Britney has done it again. The self-titled cd 'Oops!...I Did It Again' by Britney Spears is flying off shelves. In one week, this album sold more than 1.5 million copies knocking NSync off the #1 spot. According to the billboard top 100, britney is #2 (as of 6/27/00). On Rick Dee's Weekly Top 40, Britney is #1. (as of 6/27/00). Britney is just incredible. This album is the best ever. From her hit single Oops!...I Did It Again to her song Dear Diary, Britney is performing all over the world now. Her next single will be Lucky so watch for it on MTV..!!!
wow! another chart breaking single, there's no Oops about it. it is a smash hit.
Well, I love this album. It is great. The songs are great. Stronger, is a upbeat hit, and Oops, well it is hott. It is one of the neatest albums I own. I can not wait for the 3rd album. It will be out Nov. 6th, 2001!!! Go buy that one! It will be a ''shock to the mind'' in a sense!
The new single is one of the best I ever heard! Her voice really comes through and shows that she's grown a lot in a year and a half. Great work Britney! I can't wait for the CD!
As a mother of two young girls 5and 8 we went to both of her Michigan concerts 9got to meet and greet her in Grand Rapids and take a picture she is a GREAT singer she sang two of the new songs. She is a great down to earth young women who I am proud my kids love her music because, so does MOM Keep up the GREAT job Britney
The songs on this album are off the hook! I've had the album for over a year now, and I still can't stop listening to it! Britney has really matured on this album! I can't wait for her to show us what she's going to give us next. It's going to be great. OIDIA is the best CD ever!
I have over 100 CD's and this CD is the only thing I listen to everyday. It's the greatest! I used to hate Britney, but now I LOVE HER! I can't wait for her new album to come out!
Britney made a great album this time. I have to admit this album is better thatn her first. I especially like the 'Oops! I Did It Again' song. It reminds me of many things I have gone through with my boyfriend. I wish her the best of luck an dmost of all I hope every album she comes out with is as good as her first two.
I really enjoyed her new song. Just because of this Oops I did it again song, I have turned myself into a Brittney fan. She is definately more talented than Christina Aguilera. I hear she has a great attitude towards people. I think she is so adorable and I love her dance moves!
I waited so long for her new cd. This one is better than the first one. I loved it soo much. It is really great. You should deifinetly get this cd and her first one so that you have your "Britney Spears" collection built up.
i think every one should buy this tape!!!!THE BEST!!!!!!!
I'm Britney Spears number one fan.. so of course im going to think the single was awesome. People think she has a mediocre-at-best voice.. but WHO DO YOU THINK SANG THAT SONG IN THE FIRST PLACE!!?? Britney! I give her total thumbs up for her hard hard work and I'll suport her every step of the way. GOOD LUCK BRITNEY!!!!
The songs on this album are much more mature than on her first cd.On the other hand, her singing has not improved much. Her voice at times sounds nasal or mechanical. All in all its a pretty good sophmore album.
Britney Spears is a great singer and dancer! Both of her albums are great, but this is the BEST!GO BRITNEY!!!!!
The only way to describe this album is to say that it takes me to heaven every time I listen to it - The unique talents of Britney's voice exhillirate the listener through various emotions. This sound is more mature than 'Baby one more time' - Britney's music grows with me and I will continue to enjoy it - give it a try.
Lucky is the best song ever!!!!! Brittney rules!!!!
Britney your songs are teriffic!!I got your new album Oops..I Did It Again for my birthday and right when I got it i started to play it.
