About the Author

My name is Michele Pollock Dalton; and, I am an unapologetic romantic. While most romance writers focus specifically on falling in love, I have chosen to write about people staying in love - living each day in a way that celebrates their relationship and focuses on building a strong, unbreakable bond.

Although I have been writing since early childhood, I have only recently overcome my reticence about sharing the stories that I create.

Most days are spent wheeling around after a remarkable little boy that I love with all my heart. And, sometimes I put my domestic goddess skills to work, so we don't have to run around naked =)

White chocolate truffles and faith fuel my writing endeavors; and, my sincere hope is that the characters I invent resonate with folks who need a bit of inspiration to face their day.

This novel could easily have been a 5-star review, had it not been for some concerns as I read it. Concern #1: Specific swear word used 4 times I remember (could have been more) Concern #2: Some intimate situations too graphically written. Concern #3: Couple should not have (under ANY circumstances before marriage) shared a bed. Having said the above, I liked that the author tried to bring Christ into the central theme. I just thought it seems strange to read swearing and intimacy in the same story as trying to lift up Christ. I would not recommend this novel for ANYONE under 18 years of age, and possibly not recommend it to anyone. This author has so much potential. Simply needs to be more discerning in how things are presented.
