This is a photographic collection of almost all of the indian baskets in the Harvard collection. It is a most impressive collection! All photos are in black and white, and are about 2 or 3 inches square. Dates, region, tribe and provenance are given where known. Most of the collection is from the west, southwest and plains--the northeast comprises the least of the group. If you are researching indian baskets, the book is invaluable. There has been a second book published more recently that has recent aquisitions detailed in the same way. The only downside would be that all photos are black and white, and there are no estimated values given. Super book though.
